Let's talk about some news from the 6-8 Academy with CEO Tony Azevedo. Why is new technologies so important and where is the connection with NFL American Football? There is a strong connection and also partnership with some major clubs in the NFL and we need to use new ways within the coaching area.

The women waterpolo team of Australia is in the final preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo right now. Some days ago Predrag and his team announced the team who should achieve their goals at the Olympics this year. These games will be different in so many reasons but it is still one of the highest targets for each athlete. What makes the situation so special Predrag will give us some insights of the corona situation and Australias targets for the Games.

In this Live-Talk I had the honor to host a well decorated panel with some of the best and experienced coaches across europe. I am pleased to talk to the following coaches about the actual situation of waterpolo, the upcoming olympic games and the challenges for all of us.

Am 15.04.2020 gin mit Michael MIZE Zellmer die erste richtige Podcast Episode Live. Damals mit einer Minge Ideen im Kopf und der Hoffnung, dass das Format und die Menschen die zu Gast sind gut ankommen. Aus der Idee Episoden auf Deutsch zu machen, ist dann irgendwann die Idee geworden auch welche auf Englisch zu machen. Diese sind nun ohne mein Wissen, so wie es sich im Gespräch mit MIZE angehört hat, gut in den USA bei College Trainern angekommen. Alles so gekommen wie es geplant war :-) Auch die Live-Talks kommen gut an. Daher heute für Euch eine "Sonderausgabe" des Gesprächs des Live-Talks mit MIZE, ein Jahr nach seinem ersten Besuch als Prämieren-Gast im WET-Podcast.

Leipzig, Chemnitz, Plauen, New York und dann Hamburg. Das hört sich nicht nur nach einer spannenden Reiseroute an, sondern bietet auch Wasserballtechnisch einiges. Davon berichtet Gianmarco mit mir im Gespräch und gibt einen kleinen Einblick in die Entwicklung bis zum Torwart der Jugendnationalmannschaft.

In this second part of our podcast conversation Theodoros will give us some more background of the change in both teams. Many of the players traveling to the olympic games this year will be there the first time and also for Olympiacos the changes within the team are huge. Based on the economic crises there has to be a different team and much more younger team as in the past fighting for the title. But this situation also creates chances for these young players and at the end for the national team of greece.

For most of the coaches it is enough to train one team, but there are also other successful examples that there are other solutions. Theodoros Vlachos is one of these good examples because he is at the same time head coach of two big teams. Olympiacos Piraeus and the Greek National Team. Theodoros give us some insights of his coaching routine with both teams, what are the differences to other countries and what makes them successful in the younger teams. This is the first part of the talk with Theodoros and the next Episode next week will cover the second part of our conversation.
